This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding deposits, puppy reservations, payments, cancellations, and refunds. By placing a reservation, submitting a deposit, or purchasing a puppy from Love Lab Puppies, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Refund Policy.
When you choose to reserve a puppy, we may require a deposit to hold that puppy for you. Once a puppy has been reserved, we remove that puppy from public availability and decline other potential families who may be interested. For this reason, reservation deposits are generally considered non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by Love Lab Puppies.
A reservation deposit demonstrates your commitment to purchasing the selected puppy and allows us to dedicate that puppy exclusively to your family. Because each puppy is unique and opportunities to place them with other families may be lost during the reservation period, non-refundable deposits help cover the time and resources invested in the reservation process.
The remaining balance for your puppy must be paid according to the payment schedule communicated during the adoption process. Full payment must be received before your puppy is released or transportation arrangements are finalized unless another written agreement has been made between you and Love Lab Puppies.
If a buyer decides to cancel the purchase after placing a reservation deposit, the deposit will generally not be refunded. However, depending on the specific circumstances and at our sole discretion, we may allow the deposit to be transferred to a future available litter within a reasonable period. Any transfer of a deposit is not guaranteed and will be evaluated individually.
If a buyer fails to complete payment within the agreed time frame without prior communication or approval, Love Lab Puppies reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In such situations, any deposit previously paid may be forfeited, and the puppy may be made available to another qualified family.
If Love Lab Puppies is unable to provide the reserved puppy due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to serious illness, injury, health concerns identified during veterinary evaluation, or any circumstance that makes placement inappropriate, the buyer may be offered one of the following options at our discretion.
A full refund of all amounts paid.
The opportunity to transfer the payment to another available puppy.
Placement on a priority waiting list for a future litter.
We always place the health and welfare of our puppies above all other considerations. If we determine that a puppy should not be placed because doing so would not be in the puppy's best interest, we reserve the right to cancel the adoption agreement.
Every puppy receives routine veterinary care, age-appropriate vaccinations, and health evaluations before joining their new family. We encourage every buyer to schedule a wellness examination with a licensed veterinarian within the time period specified in the puppy purchase agreement after bringing the puppy home.
If your veterinarian identifies a significant health concern during this initial examination, you must notify Love Lab Puppies promptly and provide written documentation from the examining veterinarian. We will carefully review the information and work with you in accordance with the health guarantee provided at the time of purchase.
Refunds or other remedies related to health concerns are governed by the written health guarantee and purchase agreement provided with your puppy. The terms of that agreement will take precedence regarding hereditary or congenital health issues.
Because every puppy is a living animal with its own personality, no refunds will be provided due to normal puppy behaviors, personality differences, activity level, coat color changes during development, size variations within normal breed standards, training challenges, adjustment periods, or compatibility concerns that are not related to a documented health condition covered by the health guarantee.
Love Lab Puppies cannot provide refunds because a buyer's personal circumstances have changed after purchase. This includes changes in housing, employment, financial situation, family circumstances, allergies discovered after adoption, travel plans, landlord restrictions, or other lifestyle changes.
Transportation and shipping fees are generally non-refundable once travel arrangements have been confirmed or services have been scheduled. If transportation must be canceled after arrangements have been finalized, any non-refundable fees charged by transportation providers may remain the responsibility of the buyer.
If a scheduled pickup appointment is missed without prior communication, Love Lab Puppies will make reasonable efforts to reschedule. However, extended boarding may result in additional care fees, and prolonged delays without communication may result in cancellation of the reservation in accordance with this policy.
If a buyer believes a refund or adjustment should be considered due to exceptional circumstances, we encourage prompt communication. We review every situation individually and strive to reach fair and reasonable solutions whenever possible. While we cannot guarantee exceptions, we believe honest communication often leads to the best outcome for everyone involved.
Refunds approved by Love Lab Puppies will generally be processed using the original payment method whenever practical. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, financial institution, or method of payment used during the original transaction.
Love Lab Puppies reserves the right to refuse the sale or placement of any puppy if we believe the placement would not be in the puppy's best interest. If a sale is declined by Love Lab Puppies before the puppy has been placed, any eligible payments received from the buyer will be handled according to the specific circumstances and applicable agreements.
This Refund Policy should be read together with our Health Guarantee, Terms and Conditions, Puppy Purchase Agreement, and any additional written agreements provided during the adoption process. In the event of any conflict between these documents, the signed Puppy Purchase Agreement and Health Guarantee shall govern matters relating to the specific puppy purchase.
Love Lab Puppies reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time to reflect changes in business practices, legal requirements, or operational procedures. Any revised policy will become effective upon publication on our website unless otherwise stated. Changes will not retroactively affect completed transactions unless required by applicable law.
